“ My husband and I have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant for a while. We were very happy with the amount of food, quality, speed of service, cleanliness and welcoming servers. The staff were friendly and apparently have regular customers. It was a nice night out and we will definitely return. BTW we ordered house chow mein, general chicken, Japanese teriyaki beef, 2 orders of crab Rangoon & a pot of Jasmine tea. The bill was ~$85, which seems to be the same as other Chinese restaurants (except panda) ”
“ My family rarely agrees on food choices except when it comes to Folsom Palace. I great place to grab take out! ”
“ AWESOME! I went once, and I've been back again and again! I am so happy to have found a good (especially for lunch) Chinese spot! The employees are so nice and friendly. It's clean and happy inside. They have a nice outdoor area for when the weather gets nice. It's on Riley in the same shopping area as Wendy's. Easy to find and easy to park. Everything I have ordered has been delicious, hot and fresh. They use high quality chicken in the chicken dishes. My favorite is the pot stickers! YUM. It's a great place to get a hot lunch for a good price. They have a new loyal customer. ”
“ Wowza! Such an established institution in the heart of Folsom! So, what awaits you here?! Fusion Cuisine with distinct culinary style which integrates Asian and Western ingredients. Take note that they use only the finest, natural and fresh ingredients!! Ever since my grandparents had moved in the Sacramento metropolitan area in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, we've always made the trek when their cravings kick in for a fresh & healthy meal that boasts of the cuisines of China! I was pleasantly surprised us during our recent visit when we celebrated my grandpa's birthday over the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend. The standout dish was undoubtedly the Sesame Chicken, which left our taste buds tingling with its flavorful kick. Additionally, we had our usual orders of Sizzling Rice Soup (a favorite of my grandma) and the Hot & Sour Soup (which my grandfather orders to calm his nerves down LOL) - we also ordered many entrees, and what makes it a great experience is that their dishes have been always consistent! The portions were decently sized, ensuring we left satisfied. What truly elevated our experience was the courteous & friendly staff, who provided attentive service throughout the many times we've visited this place to dine in! Better yet, if you come during the weekdays, they serve reasonably-priced lunch specials that come with soup, salad, and an appetizer! (always opt to get half fried rice and half chow mein, you'll sure thank me about that pro-tip) Overall, Folsom Palace exceeded our expectations, making it a worthwhile stop for anyone passing through Folsom. They have a spacious parking lot shared alongside neighboring businesses, and parking is always easily & readily available. Location may be far from the closest freeway ramp, but if you know your way & familiarize yourself with the local streets of Folsom, you'll eventually get to your destination! Highly recommended, and take note that they two other locations around the Sacramento metro! (Citrus Heights & El Dorado Hills) ”
“ I just want to give a huge shout out to Folsom Palace not only for their yummy food, but their honesty! In a comedy of errors, I left my wallet there last night & didn't notice until this morning. As I ran out of the house this morning I realized that my wallet wasn't in my bag. Of course I was late & after a cursory inspection I had to leave the house for my meeting. Add to the comedy of errors: my phone was on silent & I hadn't looked at the messages. My panic over losing my wallet prevented me from thinking clearly. I did know that I had my wallet when I picked up take out so I headed to Folsom Palace. They had my wallet & had tried to call me as well. There was cash, cards, & much more in my wallet. All intact! Restores my faith in humanity!!! I am very grateful!!!! ”
“ Very good selections Excellent service Restaurant is very clean and inviting The food is good and consistent ”
“ First time eating at Folsom Palace, food was delicious. Place was clean and cozy, staff were polite and professional. Chicken fried rice was incredible, I really enjoyed the freshness of all the food. ”
“ Found this gem in Folsom, after my daughter's soccer game. Family-owned with three generations running the front and back of the house. Small romantic ambiance, love the light jazz music. Service was very good and I wasn't expecting that with how good the food was. Food was prepared very clean. No excess oils. Had the best chicken fried rice and Singapore noodles. The potstickers were the best I have eaten. Everything was hand made and fresh. Will definitely be back to go through the menu. ”
